I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.
My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.
And He shall redeem Israel from all his sins.

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary His mother, and fell down, and worshiped Him : and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto Him gifts ; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, arise, and take the young child and His mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word : for Herod will seek the young child to destroy Him.
When he arose, he took the young child and His mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them ; and they were sore afraid.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good-will toward men.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given : and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

All things were made by Him ; and without Him was not anything made that was made.
